Tour de France, Stage 2- How Do They Do That?

55,645 Kilometers Per Hour! That?s 34.6 miles an hour. That?s the AVERAGE speed of Garmin-Cervélo in the short 23-kilometer (14.3 mile) Team Time Trial contested on the streets of Les Essarts, France on Sunday. Freire Has Stage Victory Invalidated at Basque Tour

Just when you think you?re witnessing one of the least interesting stages of the summer, a 179-kilometer (111-mile) up and down grinder in the Vuelta Ciclista al País Vasco, with the predictable break away being dangled on a 2-minute string by the big named teams who will inevitably bunch it over the last climb to [...]

Our November winner, Jeff Ross, a 20-year member from Reno, Nevada, won a bag from Missoula, Montana, manufacturer Upcycled.

Our two grand prizes for 2011 include a $500 Adventure Cycling shopping spree (for the person who had recruited the most new members by the end of the calendar year) and a Novara Verita bicycle from REI valued at $1,099 (randomly drawn from all entries).

The 2012 Share the Joy Program is ready to go with a bunch of great monthly prizes and a bike from Giant. Visit the contest page to learn about all of the ways that you can get entered to win!

All of our prizes are generously donated by these businesses because they believe in the mission of Adventure Cycling and support the work we do.
